It may be time to renew your car insurance, but not to worry. You can kiss goodbye to the days when renewing was a real chore. Having been a customer of Sure Thing! for the last year, you’ll know that looking after you is our number one priority and we want nothing more than for you to be happy.
As a broker, we search and compare our extensive panel of insurers to make sure that you get the best possible price we can offer you for the next 12 months.
We also make it really easy for you! At least 21 days before your renewal we will email you your renewal quote for the next year. At this time we will offer you the option to have your policy automatically renewed. If you don't want us to do this we will ask you to contact us. If we do not hear from you before your renewal date we may (subject to valid payment details) go ahead with the renewal of your policy, we would do this for your protection to avoid leaving you without insurance cover. In circumstances where the insurer is unable to offer cover, or instances such as the bank account no longer being active we may be unable to automatically renew your policy.
If you do not wish us to take this action, please tell us at any time up to 7 days before your renewal date. If we do not hear from you to the contrary, we will treat it that you agree to this.

When will I be sent my renewal price?
Your renewal invite will be sent around 21 days before your renewal date by email.
Will you get me a good deal?
We’ll certainly try! We’re a broker and we work with an extensive panel of insurers so at renewal we search and compare all our insurers to make sure that we get you the best possible price we can. If we can get you a cheaper price with a different insurer than last year, then we will of course use this insurer. We will always highlight any differences in cover or the features of the policy to make sure you’re aware of any differences.
How do I pay for my renewal?
At least 21 days before your renewal we will email you your renewal quote for the next year. At this time we will offer you the option to have your policy automatically renewed. If you don’t want us to do this we will ask you to contact us. If we do not hear from you before your renewal date we may (subject to valid payment details) go ahead with the renewal of your policy, we would do this for your protection and to avoid leaving you without insurance cover. In circumstances where the insurer is unable to offer cover, or instances such as the bank account no longer being active we may be unable to automatically renew your policy.
What should I do if I don’t want to renew my policy with you?
We hope that’s not the case but if so, please give us a call on 0344 809 9501 or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org. This is important if your policy is due to automatically renew as if we don’t speak to you to stop this, your policy will roll on with no gaps in cover and payment will be taken.
Can I opt out of my policy being automatically renewed?
Of course you can. Just call us on 0344 809 9051 or email email@example.com. Just make sure to do this in advance of your renewal date.
If I’ve made a claim in the past year, will my renewal price change?
It really depends on a few things - what the claim was, what has been the outcome, was it fault or non-fault, was your No Claims Bonus affected? We should know all about the claim if it’s happened in the last year, so this will be taken into account when we are searching for your new price.
How can I make a change to my policy if it’s due to renew?
If you have received your renewal invite via email but you need to make any changes, then give us a call on 0344 809 9501. One of our consultants will be able to update your details, re-run the quote and renew the policy there and then for you too.
When will I get my new policy documents?
Once your new policy begins, you can grab your documents online. Just log in to your online customer area where your certificate and policy details will always be available. Don’t worry if you’ve not registered for this yet, you can register now quickly.
